Shivani Rajan

Junior Associate Psychotherapist

Shivani (she/they) holds a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Christ University. She has previously worked across diverse mental health settings, including government institutes, adult clinical settings, and online therapy spaces. Shivani has experience supporting clients in navigating identity exploration, relationship difficulties, grief, unresolved early experiences, life transitions, self-worth, relationships with the body, and gender and sexuality.

Shivani believes in co-creating a relational space with clients that can hold vulnerability and move towards authenticity. Her non-pathologizing approach views therapy as devoted to exploring the richness of unique, subjective experiences without labels or judgement. She places strong emphasis on recognising the influence of social and political systems on personal narratives and lived experiences, a sensibility that reflects in her therapeutic work. Her practice is psychodynamically oriented, intersectional, queer-affirmative, and trauma-informed.

Outside the therapy room, Shivani enjoys indulging her creative passions by writing poetry, painting expressive artwork, or simply immersing herself in a good book with a cup of hot coffee.
